Dear Clerk:

 

Local Government Services Section staff will conduct seven workshops this spring on preparing the Financial Report Forms C and CT for cash-basis towns.  The dates and locations are listed on the back of this letter.

 

Each workshop will begin at 9 A.M. and last about three hours.  In addition to Financial Report Form preparation, we will also cover tax-roll accounting, year-end reconciliation of local records, and a few other issues of interest to clerks, such as Levy Limits and Expenditure Restraint.

 

No pre-registration is required and there is no charge for these workshops.  While this letter is being sent only to town clerks, we welcome treasurers and other guests. 

 

Clerks are asked to bring their Form C or CT package with them.  We will provide extra copies of the Forms and other materials for anyone who needs them.

SPRING 2010 FORM C/CT TRAINING

 

Each session will last from 9 A.M. until Noon

 

 

THURSDAY, MARCH 4:  FAIRGROUNDS IN LANCASTER (GRANT

COUNTY)  North Meeting Room at Fairgrounds on East Elm Street in Lancaster.

 

 

TUESDAY, MARCH 9:  WOODRUFF TOWN HALL (ONEIDA COUNTY)

New Hall at 1418 First Avenue (Highway 47) in Woodruff.  The driveway is just

east of the Post Office.

 

 

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 10:  CABLE COMMUNITY CENTER (BAYFIELD COUNTY)       North side of County M in Cable.

 

 

THURSDAY, MARCH 11:  EDSON TOWN HALL (CHIPPEWA COUNTY)

31595 Chippewa County MM.   Edson is at intersection of County D and County MM just south of Boyd exit from 29.  The Hall is on the south side of MM, just east of the intersection.

 

 

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 17:  EDEN COMMUNITY CENTER (FOND DU LAC COUNTY)   Corner of Pine and Main (Highway 45) at east side of Village of Eden.

 

 

FRIDAY, MARCH 19:  ROME TOWN HALL (ADAMS COUNTY)

Intersection of Highway 13 and County D.  Board Room at north end of building.

 

 

THURSDAY, MARCH 25:  HARTLAND TOWN HALL (SHAWANO COUNTY)  1 mile east of Bonduel on County BE.  Take Town Hall Lane left off of BE to parking lot for new town hall.  The old hall is on adjacent lot.
