Polk-Barron-Burnett County Unit Meeting

The Polk County Towns Association Unit invites the Barron County Unit and Burnett County Unit to our October 13, 2021 unit meeting.  Our main speaker will be Jake Langenhahn, Outreach Specialist from the Wisconsin Towns Association.  Jake will be discussing the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).  This discussion will include upcoming reporting as well as allowable uses including information on lost revenue.

This will be the quarterly meeting for the Polk County Unit, with our normal meeting starting at 6:30 pm and we plan to have Jake start the presentation no later than 6:45pm.

Directions:
From Hwy 8, Amery, just past the roundabout, go north on CTH H, the Brow Tine Restaurant is .6 miles
OR
From Balsam Lake (about 9.6 miles): stay on Hwy 46 go south to Hwy 8, go east heading towards Amery, to CTH H (before the roundabout) and go north on CTH H for about 1/2 mile

The meeting will be in-person and CDC guidelines will be followed for social distancing.  Attendees are asked to wear a face covering if you have not been vaccinated yet, unless you have an underlying health condition that may prevent you from wearing one.  If you are or have recently felt ill or have a fever or have been in contact with someone that is ill, please do not attend.
