Public Works Director
The Town of La Pointe, located on Madeline Island, is looking for a Public Works Director. This is a full-time (40 hour) position with benefits package. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Position closes at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019.
Required: Ability to supervise and train, possession of valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and Commercial Driver’s License Class ABCD, experience in construction, maintenance and general mechanics, effective communication skills, use of PC and appropriate software, maintain databases. Experience in supervision in government or construction setting, Microsoft Office applications and customer service skills preferred.
