Jackson County Unit Meeting

October 15th, 2026 | 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Event Location: Department of Health and Human Services Building (DHHS) | 421 County Road R | Black River Falls, Wisconsin 54615 Get Directions »

County unit meeting participation is encouraged for all town officials.  The meetings empower you to network with other town officials, engage with legislators, learn from speakers, hear updates from WTA Directors, and improve your ability to serve your constituents.  The Jackson County Unit leaders look forward to your participation.

The Wisconsin Towns Association is a nonpartisan association that provides legislative advocacy as part of its mission.  We focus on town issues and support strategies that are good for towns and oppose actions that are bad for towns, regardless of who comes up with them.  We kindly ask that speakers and participants focus their comments and questions strictly on challenges and opportunities affecting town government.  Dialogue on matters of national or international importance that do not impact the function of the town government is encouraged to occur before or after the unit meeting.  Critical analysis of proposals, legislative or otherwise, and how they impact towns is encouraged; however, disparaging comments unrelated to proposals impacting towns are discouraged.

Your County Unit Officers invite all Town Board Officials to attend our quarterly meetings of the Jackson County Towns Association. These meetings are intended for Clerks and Treasurers, Chairs and Supervisors, Planning Commissions, and any other Town-appointed Committee Members.  Unit Meetings provide for a wide variety of educational topics and the opportunity for you to address your County, State, and Federal Legislators. There are only four 2-hour meetings (7-9 pm) each year.  We think you will find them informative, interesting, and educational.  Your attendance and participation are always appreciated.
