The Town of Norway, population 8054 in Racine County, is accepting applications for a full time Deputy Clerk. Tthe Deputy Clerk’s responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting residents with question and concerns, light bookkeeping, and assist with Tax collection and Election Administration preparation of agendas and minutes for the Planning Commission. And will serve as backup to the clerk. Attending evening meetings usually once a month and the ability to multitask is a must. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is a must. This position is a 40 hour a week with full benefits. Benefits include WRS retirement, health insurance, life insurance and paid sick, vacation and holidays. Salary based on qualifications.
