The Town of Freedom is seeking proposals from qualified waste and recycling contractors to provide residential solid waste and recycling collection services beginning January 1, 2027. Services include weekly garbage collection, biweekly recycling, twice-yearly large item pickup, and servicing designated Town-owned facilities. The proposed contract term is five years (2027–2031).

Interested firms must submit proposals no later than 4:30 PM on Friday, July 24, 2026. Proposals will be evaluated based on cost, experience, customer service, service enhancements, reporting capabilities, and references.
