Highway Patrolman
The Town of Jackson is seeking a full-time employee proficient in year-round road maintenance including winter snow removal, equipment operation, custodial services, and facility maintenance. Basic equipment maintenance and computer knowledge plus. The Employee shall have the ability to operate heavy equipment including but not limited to dump/snowplow trucks, tractor backhoe, skid-steer loader, and roadside mower. A minimum, Class B CDL is required, and Employee must have the ability to push, pull, and lift 100-pound loads routinely.
This employee shall assume the duties of the Lead Highway Patrolman in his absence. Full-time 40 hours/week. Beginning wage is $30 to $32 per hour, with health insurance, paid vacation, and Wisconsin Retirement System as additional benefits.
