    • The LRIP Pilot Program has been approved, and our district is included. The program will officially begin in early August of this year and run through June 30, 2025.
    • As part of this process, a 5-person CTRIC (County Town Road Improvement Committee) must be established to determine how the TRI funding (entitlement funding) is distributed within our county and also prioritize the TRID (Town Road Improvement Discretionary) and LRIP-S (Local Road Improvement Program-Supplemental) applications in our county. Prior to implementation of the Pilot Program, the county highway commissioner called a meeting and elected 5 members – now, our County Unit Chairman (Diana Smith) will perform this duty.  Only Town Chairs or their designees are allowed to vote or run for this (one vote per town).
