7:00 pm Lunch / 7:30 pm Meeting

County unit meeting participation is encouraged for all town officials.  The meetings empower you to network with other town officials, engage with legislators, learn from speakers, hear updates from WTA Directors, and improve your ability to serve your constituents.  The Douglas County Unit leaders look forward to your participation.

  • LRIP Pilot Program – Selection of CTRIC committee:
    • The LRIP Pilot Program has been approved, and our district is included. The program officially began in early August of this year and will run through June 30, 2025.
    • As part of this process, a 5-person CTRIC (County Town Road Improvement Committee) must be established to determine how the TRI funding (entitlement funding) is distributed within our county and also prioritize the TRID (Town Road Improvement Discretionary) and LRIP-S (Local Road Improvement Program-Supplemental) applications in our county. Prior to implementation of the Pilot Program, the county highway commissioner called a meeting and elected 5 members – now, our County Unit Chairman (Sam Jones) will perform this duty.  Only Town Chairs or their designees are allowed to vote or run for this (one vote per town).

The meeting will be held in-person.  If you are or have recently felt ill or have a fever or have been in contact with someone that is ill, please do not attend.
