Town Assessor
The Town of Medford, Taylor County, is requesting proposals for a Town Assessor for the 2022 tax year and future years. The town has an estimated population of 2,690 with a total assessed Real Estate and Personal Property value of 165,969,200. Real Estate parcel count is 1885, and Personal Property is 34. Proposals should include revaluation in 2022, maintaining the assessment roll and individual property classifications with 10% of equalized value, Open Book, and the Board of Review. Please send your proposal along with a copy of the State of Wisconsin certification, proof of insurance, references, and resume. Proposals must be received by April 6, 2021 and marked Assessor Bid on the envelope and mail to: Town of Medford, Diane Maar, Clerk W6944 County Road O, Medford, WI 54451.
