Town of Carey, Iron County is requesting proposals for a Town Assessor for 2022 tax year and future years.  The town has an estimated population of 160 with total assessed Real Estate and Personal Property value of $20,623,100 Real Estate parcel count of 528 (251 Residential, 11 Commercial, 83 Undeveloped & 183 Forest) and Personal Property 14.  Proposals should include revaluation in 2022, maintaining the assessment roll and individual property classifications within 10% of equalized value, Open Book and the Board of Review.

Please send your proposal, along with a copy of the State of Wisconsin certification, proof of insurance, references and resume.  Proposals must be received by 6/11/2021.
