The Town of Fredonia is seeking a to hire a Town Clerk. This is a very flexible three-quarter time position requiring 25-35 hours per week including some office hours. Below is a general list of duties:

The Town of Fredonia is seeking a to hire a Town Clerk. This is a very flexible three-quarter time position requiring 25-35 hours per week including some office hours. Below is a general list of duties:
- Notification of and attendance at Town Board, Plan Commission and FGC meetings.
- Pay all claims.
- Oversee all processes involved elections.
- Prepare Annual Budget and Property Tax Levy.
- Issue licenses & permits and collect proper fees.
- Report Highway & Maintenance Status as required by the State.
- Oversight of the Recycling Center including submitting recycling grant application and reports.
- Prepare and submit all documents and records with the State & Federal Governments.
- Appoint and oversee the Deputy Clerk.
