Town of Fredonia Clerk Position

The Town of Fredonia is seeking a to hire a Town Clerk.  This is a very flexible three-quarter time position requiring 25-35 hours per week including some office hours. Below is a general list of duties:

  • Notification of and attendance at Town Board, Plan Commission and FGC meetings.
  • Pay all claims.
  • Oversee all processes involved elections.
  • Prepare Annual Budget and Property Tax Levy.
  • Issue licenses & permits and collect proper fees.
  • Report Highway & Maintenance Status as required by the State.
  • Oversight of the Recycling Center including submitting recycling grant application and reports.
  • Prepare and submit all documents and records with the State & Federal Governments.
  • Appoint and oversee the Deputy Clerk.
