Community Development Extension Educator – Sheboygan County
Join UW–Madison Division of Extension as a Community Development Educator! This role strengthens Wisconsin communities by delivering research-based education, fostering partnerships, and supporting effective local government and vibrant economies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deliver, and evaluate programs on local government education, zoning, land use, and comprehensive planning.
• Train town and county officials on zoning enforcement, ethics, budgeting, open meetings, and public records.
• Develop tools and resources for community engagement strategies.
• Act as a liaison for zoning committees and GIS updates; attend municipal meetings.

Focus Area: Local Government Education with emphasis on zoning ordinance updates and planning. The educator also connects communities to statewide expertise and resources.
