Clerk/Treasurer Position

The Town of Verona is currently accepting applications for the Clerk/Treasurer position. The selected candidate will be responsible for the statutory duties of the position including the management of elections, taxation, daily financial transactions, and licensing. The Clerk/Treasurer is also responsible for document retention, meeting notices, and Board records.  A Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years of municipal experience is required. Salary range is $49,000 to $54,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits include participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System, health insurance, sick leave, vacation time and holiday pay.
